Looks cold doesn't it? Believe it or not, this is Sedona, Az. Just 2 hours north of the valley of the sun. As promised we headed to Oak Creek Canyon is Sedona on Saturday for what we thought would be an average day of hiking. Little did we know as we drove up the canyon that snow blanketed the hills and woods beyond what we expected. What a beautiful surprise. Luckily for us we planned for a chilly day and were not as cold as we look. We saw HUGE icicles, frozen creek beds and the sounds of a winter forest. Well, not really a forest but you know what I mean. We had a great day together, making more memories and being reminded of our ever so amazing and powerful God. It was like looking at a painting from his hand. Except we were actually in it. We have a collection of sticks by now, about 8 of them that seem to come with us each time we go hiking now. On the way home we spotted the Wild-Life Animal Park. Haley really wants to go there so next time we will share photos of the animals we see there. This has been a blessing and God is faithful to bless our time as mom and daughters. Thanks for a great days girls.
