Our mom is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. She is classy and exquisite, elegant and sassy. She doesn't look a day over 40 (I'm 37 so you look darn good ma). She has always been stern but consistant and taught me how to care for a home and a family. I am thankful to you mom for your love and forgiveness and your dedication to your family. I'm blessed.
Getting Started
Welcome to The Sevey family blog. It seems that I need to keep up with my sisters and share about our family so here is our new adventure. I hope you all enjoy this from here and abroad. Lord Jesus, may you receive the glory and honor and praise for what You alone have done in our family and all that you have promised to continue to do.

Go Suns! oh wait the season is over....

Well as you can tell this is an old picture. This was the 1st home game for the suns against the spurs in the playoffs. It was like a sea of orange in the stadium. Dad and I included. Dad, I wanted to thank you for the games you allowed us to share with you and with the kids. What a gracious gift. We made some great memories and have the photos to prove it. I love you dad and thanks again for taking me and hanging out with me at the game. I had a great time with you. Love ya

Independence and danger come with being out on your own I guess. Since Josh has moved out of the house he is doing well. Working and living with a few roommates. He has wanted a motorcycle for a long time and we have the house rule that no child of ours will own a bike while under this roof. So you know what I am about to say right? Yes he did, he is on his own and has bought a motorcycle. All I could say was that I liked the color... My heart aches and worry and concern fill my soul but there is only so much a mom can do and say once they leave the nest. Please keep Joshua in your prayers as he is on his own now and riding around town on this dangerous piece of machinery. Protection and trust in the Lord to keep my son safe from harms way is my everyday prayer. Son, be careful and watch the drivers around you as they can be more dangerous then you are. Mama loves you.
Welcome Reagan Mercy Newquist

I have been extremely busy this past month and I am a bit late for the announcement of my new niece, Reagan Mercy Newquist. Congratulations Tim and Sarah! Reagan was 6lbs, 19 1/2 inches and was born on May 3rd, 2008. Tiffany and I waited most of the afternoon to get a call from mom saying we should head down to the hospital so it was a surprise to me when Tiffany came running into the Fry's market where I was shopping at with a look of urgency on her face and letting everyone in the check out lines know that we had to leave NOW to get to the hospital. Sarah was having an emergency C-section. Just an hour before I had an hour or so to run to the store and we were going to head up to Scottsdale and the next thing I know we were running out of the store asking all questions later. You will be happy to know we did make it in time and actually had about 45 minutes to spend with mom and dad, Tom , Susan and Haley too while in the waiting room. There was a funny moment for Tiff and I. Sarah had shirts made up last time for Gracie's birth that read "Newquist-Shrader" "I'm part of a legacy" and somehow over the past year and a half we lost one of them so Tiff and I decided to share the 2xl that didn't fit either of us. It was easier getting in then it was getting out. Anyways, Tim finally came out with a proud papa grin and we went back to meet the little sleeping beauty. Tim and Sarah, you 2 make the most beautiful babies. You are blessed and so are your girls. They have a mom and dad who love and serve the Lord and will lead them in the ways of the Lord and shepherd their hearts for the kingdom. God Bless the 4 of you as you grow as a family and we are blessed to be family.
